V for Vendetta

Have you guys watch this movie? At least once? It is one of my favourite movie actually. Its not the action that make me interested to watch this movie over and over again. Its like Forest Gump, something is there that makes you want to watch it again...and again...and again!

One thing I know of what I like in V for Vendetta is the dialog all along the movie. Its full with "V" words. Here I give one of the dialog in the movie;

V: VoilĂ ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.[carves V into poster on wall]

Quote above is when he first appeared in the movie while introducing himself to Evey Hammond (Natalie Portman). Salute to the writer Andy Wachowski and Larry Wachowski for their wonderful script. Character of "V" is played by Hugo Weaving (well, barely see any shot of his face in the movie) but he is such a great actor. For me he does bring "V" to live.

Okay, here is few other quotes from V inside the movie.

V: The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.[giggles]

V: Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it’s my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

Enjoy it guys ^____________^

People Definitely Like You

You are very well liked, and many people admire you.
You are friendly, well mannered, and fun to be around.
Of course, you're not perfect... but that's okay.
Your friends are usually willing to accept you for who you are!

What People Don't Like About You:

People don't like that you put others down and like to gossip. They are worried that you also gossip about them!

People don't like that you forget them easily. No one wants to be friends with someone who doesn't remember their name!

What People Like About You:

People like that you can defend what you believe in calmly and rationally. You stand your ground and gain respect.

Guide for Lelong.Com.My

First of all for those who is wondering what is lelong.com.my...its not a place for banks or loan shark doing their auction. Its like Malaysian e-bay or yahoo! auction...

Its easier for malaysian since everything is in Malaysian Ringgit and thus no need to convert watsoever. Even the dealer is here in malaysia.

Its also favourite place for me n my friend to get stuff we need (if its listed there) and usually cheaper than market price. Well...you need to pay the shipping fees but it is still cheaper. For example a friend bought 500G Hdisc for only MYR350. At low yat it cost around 389. But yet he went to pick it up himself at KL. Quite stupid for me since he waste his time n money (the gas for car) looking for the dealer.

Guide for buying stuff at LELONG

1) Make sure the quality

Yes...there are many replicas n original stuff sold there. but even you just buy the replica and sure that its not the exact same quality as original, u still need to be certain about some stuff. For example the watch water resistant. Some of the replicas did have good quality but some are just not that good. you can see the price. Usually the one starting at MYR 1.00 or below 10 doesnt have good quality

2) Check the price

Here's the main thing for u to consider. Check if the auction price is cheaper or pricier compared to the same stuff selled outside. Plus the shipping cost also. If its more, its better you get it outside, unless u just want to feel the thrill to get the stuff from lelong ^________^

Usually the items in lelong.com.my is cheaper...depends on item bided.

3) How to race for the item

After you found what you really want from lelong, check the time validity for auctioning. I'd suggest you check out the Closing Soon and Closing Today tabs. They list items which will be closed in that particular day.

There are 2 way this works. There are item which is still in 22-23 hours left and also 1min-2/3 hour. Both needed different strategy.

For more than 6hour, just place the item under your watch list.

If its around 2-3 hour keep yourself updated with the status. Whether someone has outbid you or you still in the race. if it was me, I will just place my max expected amount and let the system autobid. So the system will automatically place my bid according to min increment for the item...let say RM1.00. So when someone outbid the last price, I will automatically autobid that person until the max value I submitted earlier.

Open 2 tabs - one for refreshing the page to see if someone else has put a bid, another one to place your bid. Its time consuming to open bid page and refresh page using one tab. Its A LOT EASIER using two.

4) For more successfull rate to get item at cheaper price, go online at 2-3 morning where everyone is sleeping. Its lot cheaper when u bid for item closing nearly at that time. Last night I found Kodak 7.4 MP for just 393..plus shipping its around 413. Its a bargain. And its rare to find a chance like that. But i got no $$$...sad2

Market price is around RM700.

Okay...thats all from me. And I hope that you will be successfull when you do your shopping there..n saves lot of $$$ ^_____________________^

TRIP to KT

Bandaraya Kuala Terengganu, the latest place in Malaysia announced as bandaraya. Which is only entitled when the place is considered big, have citizens around 300k and few other criteria. But all I want to tell here is just my trip there recently (^_________^)v

It was 10minutes decision before i decided to follow Ammar and Ardian for their trip to KT. Since this is my last year, and I've never visit KT for touring purpose make it an easy answer that time. Think nothing of money that time...plus I plan to get few jersey there. So I pack my back and wait for ammar to get moving. We start our journey at 6pm, friday, 11 Jan.

Ammar drove his car. Our plan was going to ammar house at kerteh first for the night and start our sightseeing the next day. That night, we met his parent, have dinner and chat with them.

First thing in the morning, of course we had breakfast ammar's mum cook for us...fried kuey tiaw and fried mee. Thanks for your generosity makcik ^^

After breakfast we start the car and head to Muzium Negeri Terengganu located at Kuala Terengganu, about 30mins drive from kerteh. It was the largest muzium in Malaysia. Even Muzium Negara is half the size. Maybe not many know this place is because the lack of promotion and marketing. Otherwise it will be a great place to visit. If you want to know more about Malay and our roots, this muzium is a place to be. Seriously, from clothings, tradition, weapons, religion and many other stuff located here...I also finally able to see Batu Bersurat (you know the one you see in sejarah text book) with my own eyes ^^ (even bought a keychain shaped like batu bersurat).

Muzium Terangganu (front view)

Sadly though, because camera is not allowed inside to muzium. Batu bersurat located just right after you walk past the counter. Its cool watching something historic and important with my own eyes. Explanation and the notes written at the stone is explained by the signboard.

There are 4 blocks and 3 levels at this muzium. Just block D and level 3 is closed because of some renovation. There are art gallery, islamic related items, "ilmu kejadian" (where they place the animals, birds and fishes there (dead of course). Whats interesting there was 200kg ikan kerapu which is caught few years ago and also ikan naga (about 2 meters long). Other animals we never saw even in zoo also shown here...

Its sooo big i cant finish telling everything in this post ^______^ haha

So if you went to KT, DONT EVER FORGET to visit this place. Its cool...

Outside, there are few other "balai" and huge boats, train head and stuff.

We head out and its already 2pm. We head to the surau there for Zohor prayer before continue our journey.

Next, we went to Teluk Ketapang. A beautiful place. Go to one of gerai there to eat. bad for us though because they only sell fried mee and other fried stuff. Then we decided to order sotong, udang and pari goreng tepung. RM5 for pari and sotong but RM6 for udang. Well...its not pricy as I thought because that makcik gave us quite a lot. Large portion in the piring. Never ate pari (as if ikan pari) goreng tepur? So do I....man..it was delicous!!!

Pari n udang goreng tepung

The taste of pari still there yet cruncy and nice. Dipped with chili sauce and it was HEAVEN!! udang goreng tepung they made it just like tempura of japanese and sotong is just as great. It was eating day that day. I forget about my weight control diet before. just eat and more eating ^__________________^

When moving from the place, ammar show us where Masjid Kristal is. Well, from what i see its small and definitely the purpose of building it is not for ISlam and more to political thingy and as tourist attraction.

Went to MM (Mydin Mall..wow...mydin already have a mall here) to withdraw some money. After that, we went to Stesen Bas KT to buy some jersey. Ammar said its cheap there and his 2nd choice to buy jersey after Rantau Panjang. We met his cousin husband who has jean repairing stall there and that brader recommend the shop next to his and talk to the owner to gives us some discount (which he DID give ^__________________^)

Bought Arsenal 3rd Kit and Aston Villa home kit which cost RM29 each. The quality is damn good too. Seriously its like the original, with the tag at the colar, the prints all at the right place. In KL that would cost around RM55 at Campbell (EACH!!). It was quite a bargain. Saves 50 bucks and chance to visit KT also.huhuhu. Ammar grab himself couple of Man Yuu jersey (home and away).

Before we head home that night, we stop at Masjid Terapung (Floating mosque). Its near the beach also. Not exactly floating but it is surrounded by lake and looks like on top of it. Thus named "terapung". Understand? There are few interesting mosque along the way..such as Masjid Putih (White Mosque) where everything is white.

We stop by at McD on our way home that night to fulfill ammar's craving for Prosperity Burger (my first time tho...not so into mcD actually). Well..it was nice. I can say..yeah...its delicious. Together with twist fries? or what was it called? i'm not sure. but beware!!! Dont order the green tea served with it cos it smells like the perfume males wear during prayers. Minyak atar tuh...huhu. Lucky i just order ribena. Weird when it smells in your mouth.

Burger...haha...pedas beb

We spend the night testing jersey and watching live cast for football matches (starts late so we are lazy and too tired to watch it at mamak). Its frustating the next morning though when know the news that man yuu won 6-0 to the stupid newcastle!! Bloody biatch...huhu

We head back to kuantan at 2pm after lunch and zohor. Ammar got to bring his sick brother to clinic.

We went to around 4 beaches during this trip. Teluk Ketapang, batu burok, Kemasik, and few more but we just passing by. The most beautiful beach we went that day was Pantai Kemasik. It was like the place was untouch. Only few pondok here and there. Ammar said the place is only known by people around the area only, thus not many outsider going there. Thus the place is clean compared to other places. The beach is beautiful, many large rocks around the area giving beautiful scenery to the place. We decide to play in the water for a bit.

Pantai Kemasik

Found quite large crab there ^___________^ but cant force it out of the rock. huhuhu.

We went to kemaman next and bought sata. I dont buy keropok lekor because ammar said maybe its not delicious there...so we just went for sata. Bought around RM5 to eat and some for friends at UMP. We stop by at pantai Balok to rest and eat some sata there. Fresh sata is truly delicious. Unlike some i've ate before which is dry, this one has more moisture and thus give really nice taste when its inside the mouth...arghhh...I'm craving more of that ^_________^

And we get our ass moving after lepaking and laying around with full stomach, we head straight to UMP... It was a nice trip at the weekend. As soon as the car reach UMP sign, my mind automatically triggering some weird signals...

TUTOR MATH TAK BUAT LAGI!!!!!

haha..anyway, heres a few pics during my trip to KT. Unlucky cannot find digital camera before departing since short of time when making the decision. Just with my 6600 vga camera only.huuuuu (TT__________________TT)

Codecs

As each day pass by, it seems like there is no end for the number of codecs for playing various video and audio format. There are like hundreds of it depends on what you used. Many of us have our own media player. Some would prefer winamp, windows media player or so on. Here I will list some of my most frequent software to play media file (movie, clips, etc.)

Media Player Classic

Top of my list would be media player classic for its versatility towards almost all media formats can be found in the net. Its also an independent software and can stand alone. The ability to use any codec already installed inside the computer is a huge benefit. This is the version of media player used before Microsoft sell it to 3rd party i think. Well, microsoft is famous for building heavy software with minimum function, which is useless compared to other medium.

Can be downloaded and used freely (its a freeware) or get it in klitemegacodec (included in the installer). Can get it HERE.

I usually set mpc as default player for all media files. Another thing is, mpc also able to play flash video format (.flv), the format usually saved from stuff you download from streaming website (youtube, etc).

VideoLAN Player (VLC)

Another alternative for media player classic. But due to some difficulty using this player I use it as a secondary after mpc. This player is far superior compared to mpc. The problem is, if you want to play simple movie file and you dont need to use complex setting, this player can be a mess. Quite hard for strolling along the time line.

But this player offers extra great stuff at their preference. For example, play the movie you want at desktop!! What i mean by desktop here is the player will hide in the background and it will display like wallpaper. Its great huh!! (^^)

Another extra point when using this player is the ability to play a corrupted media files. Say, for example...when you downloaded files from veoh, sometimes it still havent finished download all the files but we are so eager to watch or take a sneak of it right? Using normal media player we hardly get to play the file, it will say the files either corrupt or whatever. But using vlc, it will never become a problem. Not able to play .flv file though...You can find the link to download HERE

Skins also can be downloaded from the site...

Jetaudio

Is a MP3 player just like winamp. Cool player also, the playlist, the function etc. One thing i hate about this player is I still cant find HOW TO SAVE THE PLAYLIST!!! Damn it....

The link for download is HERE

But everything about playing mp3 and videos is great using this player. Whats special is when the playlist goes on to the next song, the sound will fade before entering the next song...not just suddenly stopped and play again. Giving smooth transition of sound. You can also download skins from the website.

But anyway...if you are just confused and dont know which to choose, i would reccommend media player classic. And if you are having any problem to play certain format, just install klite megacodec which can be found in link above at media player classic and if it cant help...nothing can =)

Can read the reviews and pics from HERE . This new model are using new campro engine, with Intake Air Fuel Module (IAFM) which maybe solve the problem of low torque faced by Campro before.

Maybe suited for us who will/just graduated and planning to own a smaller model car with good fuel consumption ;)

Choosing Antivirus Software

First of all, there are many of my friends asking me which antivirus (AV) did I use? And I've been using this AV for almost 2 years now, replacing my old favourite useless norton av. NOD32 by ESET I regard as the best antivirus so far. You can check it out HERE.

When i'm searching for antivirus that would be best for me, my criteria as its not heavy on system, fast scanning, use less memory when working and protects my laptop efficiently. Norton at the moment lost all of above. So, I highly advise those who are searching for new av to ignore norton.

My choice will be (from 1st to 3rd) -

NOD32
Kaspersky AV
Avast AV

NOD32

Offers light system requirement. It also doesn't use too many system resources (RAM) when working compared to several other av i've tried. If u are heavy gamers who don't like to be disturbed when gaming, want quite protection, less resource spend on your av...then this was ultimate solution. Have very simple interface though. But using this av might be a problem to a newbie to the av. For this av works on top notch there are settings that needs to be configured depends on how you want it to work. Thats what i like about it. Not very user friendly with the interface, yet provide best protection

With advance heuristics feature in this av, it can detect viruses and worms event though its not yet in the database. It works by detecting the common script of the virus program. So, its less worrying when you are unable to update to the latest virus definition for your av.

NOD32 however unlike other av which provide firewall together with their program, doesn't provide any. But it does have internet real-time scanning feature so that you are protected when surfing online around the net. Like, sometimes people plant their virus in one of the webpage and downloaded without you knowing anything but with NOD32 it is now more reliable to protect from these kind of attacks.

Sites such as cracks and porns often have viruses. So just be carefull with those. To backup the lack of network protection, i used external firewall (DO NOT RELY ON WINDOW FIREWALL...COMPLETELY USELESS!!). Microsoft should just focus on getting better OS rather than creating safety features because its basically useless. Even vista is too heavy...with fast computer one needs to make it slower? thus creating heavy graphics OS? thats stoopid. XP is much better in terms of that...even though it also consume large resources.

Back to firewall, you can just search any firewall available on the net since most are quite the same. Using firewall, one also need to have basic knowledge in knowing the name of software they used. Because it will ask (for first time) whether the software trying to connect to the network launched legally or not by you or automatic system approach.

At the moment i used Sygate Personal Firewall. It works brilliantly at the moment...blocking access from out there. At my place, in the network has a lot of viruses and those with less protection will probably face problem with it.

So thats all i can help if there are any out there asking about av. I cannot review on other av since i'm not using it fully (just for a moment to test) but with my ranking of my favourite av, that should helps.

My tips on searching new av is you need to be a bit research on the net, read the forums, reviews, and rating or award of the av gets. Maybe also research done by pro webs about rating av around the net.

Thats all...

bye
