long time no see...gomen

SAlam...

Gomenasai...havent updated the blog, i think its been ages. First week after i check-in to the new house the internet was just fine. But then suddenly they put password to the connection and we need to register 1st before being able to use it. Its Friday, so i can only register on Tuesday since Monday is holiday in Pahang known as Hari Hol (i dont even know what it means).

As i registered my laptop for the access, the virus attacked my laptop and i formatted my laptop (causing the access gone and need re-registration). Hate it though. Now i'm online from my friends old room at the hostel block..hehehe

During a week of holiday last time, i manage to watch Jangan Pandang Belakang (the real JPB, not the one riding the bike naked :p)

My comment is: Wow...at least its not typical Malay movie even though the effect of ghost sucks and everything is pitch black.

There are few facts about ghost and malaysia which i only knew after i watch this Malay horror movie...here i list it down, check it out:

Ghost like to race with cars - you can see the hantu raya try to compete by racing side to side with the car. not driving his car la...but flying with swimming pose

Malay ghost doesnt reach aim to scare victim - usually they appear at the back of their victim, so they doesnt reach the aim to scare the person they suppose to scare. Instead they scared others around their victim. biasa la...hantu ni bukan pandai sangat. orang nak takutkan orang pergi depan dia la kan, kalo dok belakang bapak penatnya nak tunggu dia pusiing.

there are still office in malaysia use table fan instead of air-cond - 1st of all, i'm shocked knowing there are still office using table fan. i thought only my moms because their air-cond is under renovation, upgrading for larger scale. but seeing other office use table fan feels like funny :p

People living in condo's are saving - as the movie start, they only switch on 2-3 lights in the room and everything is kinda gloomy. maybe just to create the eerie feelings and fixed the concept of horror genre....i think :-|

When someone knocking your door at night when you are with your girlfriend, it suppose to be GHOST, not someone from JABATAN AGAMA.

Malay ghost are like ordinary people, when they cant reach us by knocking the door, they go for the phone :-)

But from what i see in this movie, things quite similar has happened in my family before when i was little. The one affected is my Pak Long from something inherited from my grandfather. Well, we are Minangkabau's. From Indo and are known to possess many knowlodge about this stuff. Even my late grandfather is known to have Ilmu Kebal which none of his son inherit because as we know it is strayed from Islam rule.

Back to my Pak Long story, he is known to have thick minang tongue but then during he is possesed he speak fluent malay language, like someone living in KL.funny wasnt it? but if you are there that time it will not be something funny to be laugh at.

Somehow my other uncle manage to throw away that 'thing'. But it came back 2-3 years after that during Raya Aidilfitri period (we thought it may be Hantu Raya) and the way we know he is sick is when if my mum walking next to him and he doesnt even say hi or watever, there is something wrong with him.

After 2-3 times of curing him, its already been years since he last acted like that and he is fine now.

Well, i just hope that thing thrown away doesnt come back to me like the one from the movie JPB....eeriieee
