holiday end

Salam...

There is only two days left before the timetable starts back as usual, continuing our routine life in Universiti Malaysia Pahang, the new name replacing Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan dan Teknologi Malaysia.

The upcoming event to be aware of is Japanese language test, Seminar PSM 1, submiting all the assignments, submit the slide for Seminar PSM 1 and the list goes on. Its really going to be a busy week after this peaceful holiday. Not so peaceful though, empty minded thinking how to solve the problem of the assignments.

Lucky i have Wang here, acting as my catalyzer for me to do all the work.heh. Its been a tough week. Most of the entry in my to-do list has been completed such as set appoinment at HTAA, slide for PSM, emt (not quite...haha.still didnt write properly).

But what excite me most, we will be continuing silat cekak training after this week. Its fun to learn how to deflect many kind of attack and defend system of other martial arts.

Talking about martial arts, its been a while since i start teaching my mom and my sister about ordinary attack by street attackers. FYI, my mom is still in fobia since the ragut incident last year. My sister is growing and who knows if someone with corrupted mind might do something to her (ya Allah, selamatkan lah keluarga ku dari sebarang bencana..amiinn).

So what i do is, when we chatting together with my mom i just show her how she might get attacked and simple way to deflect it. For example in case being locked, choke or anything that might happen. As for my sis, while im playing with her, i show her the basic way how to release her hand if someone hold it harshly or the way she dont like. We do it in the fun way bcos she is still a kid. Might get in her head faster though.huhu

For my female friends, i just want to remind you about how dangerous streets in Malaysia it can be. Someone looking really normal might become a violent person in just a minute. It is better to know a little simple tips to help yourself in trouble. Even one simple move can determine your life and death. Its not hard actually. There is even books out there teaching simple technique that is really useful for women. I found one in Popular for around RM 40 and lots of tips too.

Same thing mentioned by other experts on TV shows:

- do not walk alone
- do not walk in quiet street
- aware of the surroundings
- walk with friends instead of being alone

Maybe in the future ill show a few way to help yourself in case anything happened...who knows ;)

Wasalam
