Back from raya

What a nice holiday I had during raya. Staying at kampung surely IS the best. Met all my cousins, maklong, makngah and everyone is a good feeling. After a year not meeting each other. Not going back for raya korban last year though. Staying at hostel for some work.

Well, whats special when hari raya is, of course lemang made by maklong. She's good at it and no one else can beat her. She sells it too though (no wonder) and get lots of order. U can just imagine how fresh our lemang is in pagi raya. Heh.

Me

Usually during 2nd raya then the food festive is starting. Abg Ano will sembelih his burung terkukur and make rendang added with pucuk ubi freshly picked by maklong. FYI, maklong, paklong are the only one staying at kampung while others are in KL. Back to the rendang, since burung is usually small, we also mix it with ayam kampung. Now theres the kick. U cannot taste something like that anywhere in urban areas. Sorry forgot to take the picture, when I realize this is something I can add to blog its already in my esofagus.ahahaha. But yeah...its delicious.

Angah yg kerek lepas dapat duit raya

Everytime when the whole family is gathering, thats the special food to be cooked. As far as i can remember, we made it every year (maybe once a year since its hard to get the bird). For those who wonder what the bird taste like, it taste a bit less than a chicken and smaller. Bones are quite sharp. And the taste is not the same as puyuh if u ever had one. While ayam kampung is not like normal chicken we get in market. Its harder but no fat like normal chicken.

Maybe u guys can tell whats special in your kampung in "comment" :) Other than that most are the same with other house during raya. Such as nasi impit, lemang, lontong, laksa blablabla. 1st raya is lemang, 2nd raya is laksa and usually 3rd is lontong.

Meeting my cousin asking him about LI place and he suggest a factory in shah alam, has their own boiler and prime mover. Generating their own power and only uses 15% of TNB supply for lighting and such. Quite nice place. He said that LI degree student mostly will work on the boiler, turbine and whole generation process (power system) which is the course i'm taking. Well, hope next year i can make it there since it will be nice working with something we know theory only.

Back to gambang early this year, need to finish my PSM. This monday got to present my project to En Fadhil. Hope everything will work just fine. Insyaallah.
