It still have the simplicity of point-and-shoot camera with minimal adjustment on the manual features. Plus, you can record a video, which is something DSLR lacks. I assume only those who is serious in photography should proceed to dslr.
Me myself, I'd prefer this ultrazoom camera. Unlike normal point-and-shoot camera, these camera might have lens that can zoom up to 20x (optical). Even dslr needs to buy another set of lens to get that zoom capability.
Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ18 was my choice, until recently they released the newer model, FZ28. Almost the same body with minimal changes but with better image quality and few other enhancement. This camera capable to zoom up to 18x. While using lower resolution, maybe the zooming capability can extend further. What makes both FZ18 and FZ28 is their iA mode, which is abreviation for "intelligent Auto" mode. Unlike the normal auto mode, iA will decide the best setting for exposure, speed and everything else which brings a joy for the user when image captured looks good. If user decides to to creative photography, they can also use the manual adjustment for their pleasure. Despite being pricey with price matching DSLR, I am sure user will fully satisfied as it gives simplicity and quality. Check out the iA mode. Click Here
But comparing the image quality with DSLR is 100% unfair as they belongs to a different category. Yet, reading several reviews I believe this would perfectly match me :-D
When I choose to buy a camera, I'd consider their simplicity and the zoom capability. As for user friendly, LUMIX has won with their simple yet easy to understand camera menu. I also feel easy as LUMIX image stabilization works great. I didnt get same result using my aunty's Olympus nor my friend's Canon.
Do some research by reading professional and user review in Internet before heading to the store. With some information you get in hand, you might have several question to ask the seller later.
I might wanna add some other features in this camera. This camera has enabled its zoom when recording (you can zoom when recording, most camera zooming is disabled when in recording mode thus you have to set the zoom length before start recording) . And you might want to know despite HD video quality it gives, the sound quality is not as good (mono, 16kbps, 44khz). But the sound lacking doesnt bother me though, as I feel its enough as long they have the sound in the video.
Price of FZ28 at the moment, cheapest I can find is RM1300 at e-bay. Currently I am using my Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LZ5. Despite being old, its capability to zoom up to 8x optical in 3MP has beaten many other newer model in the market. I'm not looking for high megapixels (MP) camera for my use, since I only use the image to print 4R picture and nothing sized as big as giant posters. 3MP is more than enough to print beautiful 4R sized pictures.

Anyway, Malaysia politic is hectic again after 16th Sept. With DSAI announcing he is ready to take over government, PakLah n Najib changing portfolio (which I think is a good move, for economics), and hopefully decreasing of oil prices by the end of this month. Shud drop another 70sen since current crude oil prices is way lower comparing the prices for this whole year.
Pakatan Rakyat already send a letter to propose a meeting with the PM to discuss upon national issue. I dont know whether PM do understand the deep meaning of the contains of the letter. It is not a direct letter saying "hey, paklah, lets meet because I want to takeover the government". Its starts with telling the situation in Malaysia and then followed in last paragraph a statement they should meet to discuss the future of Malaysia. But, I think when dealing with Paklah, they dont need all this fancy letter to look good, keeping old malay style of not being direct. It might become a problem when the person this letter is issued to dont understand the meaning. Like comment from paklah when press is asking regarding the letter. He says, the letter doesnt say anything about a meeting, its just telling current issues...dusshh. Congratz PR, you've done a great job for this guy to play with words. Whether he understand or not, that, I dont know.
Our PM stepping down is something to expect, well, still not sure though. But I do hope so, observing all the reports by both opposition parties and government themselves is rejecting him. I dont see why he need to hang tight to that position. This matter is effecting the whole country. Everyone is waiting to see what will happen in near future. Whether DSAI talks about taking over goverment will become reality or PakLah will stay for another period.
I do afraid if "Darurat" is implemented. Well, who knows. Its in the hand of the PM. As long he is in the chair, he can do anything as he please. Darurat, is something I regard as the most serious matter. Hope darurat is nowhere close in Paklah's mind.
Just be prepared if something like this is happening...

Alright, new owner came in. More money for the club. Suddenly become one that is capable to buy any player they wanted. Just like the time Abramovich come to Chelsea. Mourinho is given all the money to buy anyone he like.
And this take-over seems like a new birth to City, where they are now aiming to break through the top-4.
But still, I dont believe they can do that. Not with current manager. For me, no matter how good the player is, how big their name is before entering the club, it will all be useless once they are in hand of a poor manager.
To change a club to be a better club for competition, its not the player thats important. For me, manager plays a more important role in this.
Try take Arsenal, Arsene Wenger never buy the player with big names or high reputation. He'd rather to buy player that are young which he can develop himself with the club style.
Hleb performance at Barca, according to some report can never be compared with his time in the Gunners. See..? So does Henry, and everyone else.
Wenger can make anyone look good with what they can do individually and exploit to use it for the team, thus making them look good with the rest of the team. Its not single player work that makes football, its the team that can create good performance.
Back to M.C, I dont think they can make it in the future, not with current coach...its a no no~

This morning got a call from Sony (EMCS), saying I was hired under Management Trainee Program (MTP) as engineer. Video auto mount engineer to be exact, doing maintenance work.
There will be 3 months trainee period before confirming my post there as an engineer. If I meet their expectation, I'll get the post for permanent engineer there, or else I'll be fired and start my journey again seeking for jobs. Hehhe
The wage package is ok ( got no other job offer...so what, hehhe), and the benefits stated is minimal. Not sure the full employee benefit there, like healthcare n so on. Will ask for it later...
Maintenance, something I'm interested with. Hopefully for a long time :-D

Will be reporting in by Monday next week. Probably this blog will be left alone again for a while...hehhe

But I try it out anyway, wonder if still can be used. The end result is superb. Well, not as superb as high end speaker but at least I was satisfied with the sound.
Previously, I had to set the equalizer depends on the song because the treble from the satelite speaker is not good enough. And sometimes when different type of song has high treble I need to configure again and increase the bass.
WAtching movie also is not as fun as the sound produced is not balanced between bass and treble. You can here the bombing but the sound of bullet is missing. I bought Philips Aurilium external sound card. It does improve the sound a bit. Some instrument in music not heard before is noticed.
Now after upgrading the satelite to Sony MiniHifi (my old one..around 10 years ago) and I found the sound I've been looking for without spending extra cash to buy either new amplifier or change to another set of multimedia speaker (Planned to buy Klipsch, priced 388 at lowyat), so now I can spend that money for something else. Hehehe.
Even changing to new set of speaker, I'm troubled in choosing the one that fits my taste. Sonic gear Blue Thunder or A5 gives the BEST bass sound, yet their treble and sound clearity sucks. Altec Lansing is out of the league. Their new model is the worst. Cracking sound can be heard anywhere.
Edifier..too costly for a 40W speaker. Their speaker is designed with some intelligent mechanism, which will adjust the speaker not to crack the sound if turned full volume. Yet, I cannot find the shaky-vibrating-dropping your heart bass I admire.
Seems like only Sonic Gear able to give that particular sound, until Yus introduce me to Klipsch. Which I will totally recommend for those looking for powerful speaker with great bass and as a complete package. Placed lower in the speaker rack, I turn off all the speaker at the demo cabinet to find out the speaker that gives that bass i wanted...and there it is!! And priced RM388...
Back to my speaker, Tatoo 330 is capable to produce nice bass sound, the problem maybe the satelite speaker is too small and cracks when pushed a little bit further. So changing it to Sony speaker gives a whole lot different sound. The bass is not only produced by the subwoofer, but also this two new satelite (sized larger than the woofer itself). And since the driver is larger than original satelite speaker, the treble is clear. Tested with dolby effect, thx and few other sound test and sound is satisfying.
Ahh...now have no problem playing the music out loud as the sound no longer annoys me. Hehhe

In past few weeks, I've attended several job interviews, which the result is still unknown. I admit I am pretty excited to know whether I am accepted or not, meaning I'm qualified enough to work for them. If not, I will try harder to find any openings in Malaysia industry market.
I'd rather work in doing maintenance, planning or project than going to R&D department. Probably I don't like to work in rigid environment. Something new in everyday is what excites me.
Comparing one interview to another, each company has their own style. Mostly are relaxed and not too formal, allowing the candidate to perform better in introducing what they capable of.
To be frank, my first interview was quite bad, as I dont know what infomation should I tell because the interviewer dont do much talking. Only few words and thats it, except when he tells the job scope and about the company...Well, maybe its a good think I was not accepted for that position since the job scope probably doesnt suit me.
My second is much better. I already know what to do. Give out everything about what we learn, tell honestly and just be myself. "Being yourself" probably the best advice for those going for job interview. Tell whether the skill listed in resume is still fresh or you'll need some time to get it back to be used again. Honestly, I don't know whether what I tell help me or failed me, but I'm pretty sure lying about what you can do is much worse when it comes to real work.
After going to interview one by one, experience build up and hopefully I can "sell" myself to the company and accepted as an employee anywhere. Treat every interview as a chance to gain experience and be motivated as you aimed to get the job...
Hopes me sharing some of my experience can help others in their future job interview :-)

I grow up with Thundercats, Suria Baja Hitam (Masked Rider), Ultraman, MacGyver, Legend of Condor Lovers, N-Sync, Star Trek and many other that I still remember. Some are still here while some other has ended, like star trek and macgyver. New star trek is not as interesting without Capt Luc Picard, new knight rider with new Kit doesnt interest me much. Air wolf has ended long time ago too.
I admire old school movies such as Rambo, Rocky, Van Damme, Legend of 1900..the kind of movie that give some spirits and good morale. Even the story is typical, and not as complex as movies nowadays that I found to ridiculous to follow. I will find its very hard to look for movies worth to go to cinema for.
You can never trust the advertisement. Those ads sounds cool and everything about the movie. Take an example, Deception, a movie that I finished watching in just 10 minutes and delete without second thought.
Even the music now is...haihh. I dont know what kind of music they call music nowadays. I'd prefer metal or rock than latest crappy RnB, hiphop shit nowadays. Tupac or Dr Dre is much better than guys nowadays. Mix in some beat, then rap a little bit and thats their new trend hiphop. Try to tune in FlyFM and you'll know what I mean. I dont even understand Superwoman by Alicia Keys..how can anyone listen to that...I dont understand. Maybe the brand of the name. As long its by a famous singer, the music they wrote is a new trend and its stylish.
Yes, you can see my playlist. Someone browsing my music collection might say "You are so not updated"..but who cares. Its my ears. I'd prefer listen to my self-burn cd than opening the radio.
Oh...the TV series. I cannot stand watching Prison Break. It was so lame it cannot even be compared to The Pretender which is so much better. Series worth following might be Band of Brothers, House M.D and Supernatural still can be accepted. I still remember last time I use to watch Angel, Dark Angel, The Pretender even though its aired late at night. Those series is so much more interesting.
Yep..I admit, I'm old fashioned and I'm still living in the 90's...hehhe

Yeah, its Ramadhan now. The month where Muslims fasting for one month period. For the whole month, a Muslim should avoid stuff that can break their fast during the day and increase religious activity. And this includes a person like me...he he he
SO this month I will try to be a better Muslim, increase my efforts and distance myself from Hello!Project or AKB48 during the day (the night is still on, yeah!!)
Another important mission is downloading!!! Yeah, download. Few daya ago I was searching for some old movies, Miss Congeniality and The Legend of 1900, which nowhere can be found in torrent. I gave up and asking here and there if anyone does have the movie.
Xeno introduced me to RS premium. He says I surely can find it there. So without 2nd thought (I just got my allowance check) I ordered one account which last for 3 month. Oh yeah baby!!
I already finished downloading both movie above. Currently in queue is The Green Mile, Punisher, Indiana Jones Classic, Robocop and few others.
And not to forget classic tv series, complete season which is The Pretender, MacGyver and hopefully Star trek - The next Generation..woohoo~

Last week on friday JW Marriot has called for Management Trainee position interview, this Wed at 11a.m
Just now Sony EMCS has called for a position too, a test and interview will be held also this Wed at 10.30am...
Now I'm in dilemma as which one I should choose. Arghhh...really wanted for both position. Just hope to go for both interview and decide later. T_T
Today is public holiday, will call Marriot HR tomorrow if can postpone the interview...hopefully can change to another day. ..
